Responsibilities:
Right at Home Des Moines is looking for a compassionate and dedicated CNA/HHA to join our team for 12-hour day shifts in West Des Moines, IA. Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort
- Monitor and document client health status, reporting any changes to supervisors
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition and hydration
- Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and errands
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
- Adhere to individualized care plans and maintain accurate care documentation
Requirements:
- Active CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or HHA (Home Health Aide) certification in Iowa
- Previous experience in home care, assisted living, or a similar healthcare setting preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts reliably and consistently
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with clients and families
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a client-first attitude
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Must pass a background check and meet all state compliance requirements

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
